Hi! I am Adelaide Naumann.
I own Divine Goods and I am located in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee which is where I was born and raised.Β
You may ask, why did I name the shop Divine Goods? Divine is my middle name and I have always loved it! I was named for my great grandmother, Adelaide Divine McGee, and people called her Miss Addie.Β
I am a huge fan of great customer service and attention to detail. I hope you can see this in the attention I give to all of my customers as well as to the gifts being sent.Β
I have worked off and on in the retail industry for about thirty years. Starting off in Austin, Texas in 1990, I worked for several local shops that would form my love for βgifting.β When I moved back to my hometown of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee in 2001, I became the Development Head for a North Georgia conservation organization my family started called the Lula Lake Land Trust. I worked there for seven years and loved being able to help with such an amazing non-profit. When my time at Lula Lake ended, I realized that my daughters would be leaving for college in the next few years and I had better figure out what to do with my time before they were gone and my house empty. My ex-husband owned a wine store in Chattanooga and hired me to be the buyer for retail items at his shop. It reminded me how much I loved working retail and helped me find the courage to start Divine Goods. Divine Goods is located in the basement of my house, which is a converted playroom turned warehouse.
